Twelve sex offenders registered here
Georgia law requires that convicted sex offenders register at their county of residence, county of employment and county where attending school. If an offender moves to another county in the State of Georgia, he/she is required to register with the sheriff of his/her new county of residence in addition to notifying the sheriff of his/her previous county of residence. Registered sex offenders residing in Jenkins County are as follows: • Carl C. Bennett, 651 Parrish Burke Road, convicted of lewd and lascivious acts with a child, 1997. • Leodis Burke, 1136 Jeanette Drive, convicted of sexual battery, 1999. • Dawn McKinney Bryan, 3472 Oak Hill Church Road, convicted of statutory rape, 2008. • George Washington Fowler, 1893 Mockingbird Road, Perkins, convicted of incest, 1998. • Michael Knight, 119 Bob Drive, convicted of rape, child molestation, 1991.
• Leonard Mitchell, 253 Georgia Avenue, convicted of child molestation, 1994. • Danny Lee Nesmith, 1038 Hiltonia Road, convicted of child molestation, 2002. • Ralph Becton Palmore, 650 Parrish Burke Road, convicted of child molestation, 1999. • Jerome Ryals, 4178 Hwy. 23 South, convicted of child molestation, 1994. • Harrison T. Story Jr., 4114 Fairfield Loop, convicted of incest, 2007. • Eddie James Wells Sr., 564 Martin Luther King Jr. Dr., convicted of child molestation, 2002.
