Evelyn Denham, 85, of Millen died June 26

Mrs. Frances Evelyn Florence Denham, 85, of Millen died Thursday, June 26, 2008.

Her funeral was 2:30 p.m. Saturday, June 28, at Oak Hill Baptist Church. Burial was in the Millen Cemetery.

Mrs. Denham was born in Lincoln County, but had lived in Millen most of her life. She was a retired customer service representative and a homemaker. She was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her son, Harry Denham.

Survivors include her husband, John David Denham; daughter, Fran E. Freeman of Waynesboro; daughter-in-law, Susan Young Denham of Millen; three grandchildren, Al Smith and Ricky Smith, both of Waynesboro, and David (Blue) Denham of Millen; and three great-grandchildren, Mark, Chad and Ashlee Smith.

Grandsons, great-grandsons and Dennis Small served as pallbearers.

Crowe-Fields Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
