Miss Henry to wed Mr. Jenkins Sept. 20

Matthew Dufft Jenkins and Melanie Lara Henry

Mr. and Mrs. James Luther Henry of Millen announce the engagement of their daughter, Melanie Lara Henry, to Matthew Dufft Jenkins, son of Mr. and Mrs. Julian Stanley Jenkins of Waynesboro.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carroll Britt Aaron of Millen and the late Mr. and Mrs. James Luther Henry Sr. of Mount Vernon.

She is a graduate of Jenkins County High School and Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Business Administration. She is currently employed by Club Car in Augusta.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Milton Jenkins and the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Edward Glover, Sr., all of Waynesboro.

He is a graduate of Burke County High School and is currently employed by Burke Farm Management in Waynesboro.

The wedding will be held 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, 2008 at Elam Baptist Church.

Local invitations will not be sent. All friends and family are invited to attend.
