Tyrone Mingle to host baseball camp at rec.

Tyrone Mingle, formerly of the Anaheim Angels, will host a boys' baseball camp Monday, July 28, through Thursday, July 31, at the Jenkins County Recreation Department (JCRD.)

Mingle, a graduate of Screven County High School, attended and graduated Abraham Baldwin Agriculture College on a baseball scholarship. He signed with the Anaheim Angels in 2004. He is currently instructing baseball in Albany through MVP and Diamond Sports training, teaching kids the fundamentals of the game. He is also pursuing a master's of psychology at Albany State University.

Mingle stated, "I wanted to come home and give back to the kids in the area that I grew up in."
