Big Horse Creek Baptist Church

Big Horse Creek Church will sell Krispy Kreme donuts Saturday, Sept. 6, in front of Harvey's in Sylvania, beginning at 9 a.m. The donuts will cost $5 per dozen and can be ordered prior to the sale or purchased the date of the sale. To pre-order, see any member of the church or call Pastor Michael Miller at (912) 314-1504. Pre-ordered donuts will be available for pickup on Friday. The sale will benefit the building fund at the church.

Jones Temple Baptist Church

Jones Temple Baptist Church will hold their Senior Choir's 17th Choir Anniversary 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 14. The Rev. E.L. Jones is pastor. Michelle Newkirt will serve as mistress of ceremonies. The history will be presented by Matthew Davis Jr.

The parade of choirs will include: Jones Temple Sunbeam; Jones Temple Juniors; Jones Temple Male Chorus; UCJC; Brinson Rock, Cross and Green Community; William Grove Baptist; Gordon Grove; and Hurricane Branch choirs.

Refreshments will be served. The public is invited.

Lane Grove Baptist Church

"Awanna" will be held from 6 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. every Friday at Lane Grove Baptist Church.

House of Fire Ministries

House of Fire Ministries is holding a three-night revival beginning at 7:30 p.m. today, Wednesday, Sept. 3, and continuing through Friday, Sept. 5, at 521 Cotton Ave. The speaker will be the Rev. Daniel Latimer of Denmark, S.C. The founders and overseers are Darrel and Demetria Smith.

The church will celebrate their one year anniversary 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 7, at the Jenkins County Agriculture Center on Barney Ave.

Daniel Grove Baptist Church will hold its annual revival services Tuesday, Sept. 9, through Thursday, Sept. 11.

New Hurricane Branch Baptist Church

New Hurricane Branch Baptist Church will celebrate their 138th Church Anniversary Sunday, Sept. 7. Services will begin at 9 a.m. The speaker will be Pastor David Reese and the guest church will be Gordon Grove Church. The Rev. Harry Baldwin is pastor. Deacon Charlie Walker Jr. is chairman.
