Miss Miller to wed Mr. Woods Oct. 18

Mr. Jeffrey Miller of Rocky Ford and Ms. Cricket Miller of Millen are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Courtney Louise Miller, to Charles Francis Woods III, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Francis Woods II of Appling and Ms. Pamela Johnson of Millen.
Miss Miller is the granddaughter of Mr. Bobby Oglesby and the late Mrs. Louise Oglesby of Millen and Mr. Bobby Miller and the late Mrs. Mary Miller of Rocky Ford.
She graduated from Jenkins County High School in 2006 and is currently attending Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College, pursuing a degree in nursing.
Mr. Woods is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Woods of Appling and Mrs. Elma Lee and the late Mr. Charles Lee of Millen.
He graduated from Jenkins County High School in 2004. He also graduated from Southwest Georgia Technical College of Thomasville with an Agricultural Technology degree. He is currently employed by the United States Air Force as an Electronic Warfare Systems Apprentice and is stationed at Moody Air Force Base in Valdosta, Georgia.
The wedding and reception are planned for Saturday, Oct. 18, 2008 at 5:30 p.m. at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wes Lee in Millen. No local invitations will be sent; all friends and relatives are invited to attend.
