Amanda Newkirt Mathis died Oct. 4 in Swainsboro

Mrs. Amanda Newkirt Mathis departed this life Saturday, Oct. 4, 2008 at Emanuel Medical Center in Swainsboro.

Her funeral will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, at Union Chapel Baptist Church in Garfield. Burial will follow at Parrish Grove Baptist Church in Twin City.

A wake is scheduled for 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 10, at Dwight's Funeral Home.

Dwight's Funeral Home of Millen is in charge of arrangements.
