Library News The library will be closed Monday, Oct. 13, for staff training. We hope that you'll enjoy your Columbus Day as we explore new skills! Today, Wednesday, Oct. 8, at 4 p.m., we'll be creating cute scarecrows during story time! So bring a set of old clean clothes and join us for some straw-stuffing fun! We will not have story time on Wednesday, Oct. 15. Wednesday, Oct. 15, at 4 p.m., we'll be having our great teen book club meeting. Come in and join us, and help us pick a new book for next month after we discuss this month's book, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time by Mark Haddon! Are you a teen or 'tween? Then come into the library and vote for which scary movie to watch Friday, Oct. 24! The deadline to turn in your vote is Monday, Oct. 20, so come in soon - and then join us for the movie on the 24th! The Screven-Jenkins Regional Library Board will be meeting Thursday, Oct. 23, at 4 p.m. The Jenkins County Memorial Library Board will be meeting Wednesday, Oct. 22, at 10:30 a.m. The public is invited to attend.
