Letters to the Editor

Dear Editor,

On Aug. 31, my wife and I had dinner at a local restaurant in the Port Wentworth area of Savannah and at which time, unknowing to me, I lost my wallet inside the restaurant. Upon returning home sometime later, imagine our surprise when we were met by Millen residents Marie and Ronald Adams and Rhonda and Michael Hendrix with my found wallet. These fine people had taken the time to find where we lived and drove out of their way to return my wallet to me. I would like to thank them for their kind act toward me, and the coincidental part is that I am a former resident of Millen. It was a clear case of hometown folks helping out another. My thanks again to Marie, Ronald, Rhonda and Michael. Bubba Rountree
