Community House Park landscaping complete

During the past year the area behind the Millen Community House has been beautifully landscaped. The initial idea for a Community House Park originated with the Millen Woman's Club (MWC). With assistance from the City of Millen in preparing the lot, and financial assistance from a number of sources, the first phase of the park became a reality. Wiggins Landscaping Service donated several plants to the project. Contributing to the funding in addition to the Millen Woman's Club were Millen Better Hometown (MBHT), Planters EMC Operation Roundup, Screven Wood Company, Sons of the Confederate Veterans (SCV) and Millen Garden Club. MBHT also received a grant from Hands on Georgia that helped fund the project.
