Kelly crowned

Makenzie Diane Kelly was crowned "2008 Little Miss Ogeechee Fair" in the 5 - 6 years of age division of the 2008 Miss Ogeechee Fair Pageant held Saturday, Sept. 20, at the Langston Chapel Elementary School in Statesboro. Participants were limited to Bulloch, Bryan, Candler, Effingham, Emanuel, Evans, Jenkins, Screven and Tattnall counties. She received a rhinestone crown, sash, trophy and a $50 cash award. She was also named the "most beautiful" and "prettiest smile" winner, and she rode in the fair's kickoff parade. She is the daughter of Tom Kelly and Christina Coleman. (Photo contributed)
