The Jenkins County school system honored its bus drivers with an appreciation dinner Thursday, Oct. 9.
Interim Superintendent Me- lissa Williams states, "Our bus drivers are usually the first face associated with the school that the child sees in the morning and the last face in the afternoon. Thus, the bus drivers make every effort to insure each encounter is a happy one with the hope that it will make a difference in the child's school experiences. Not only today but each day, we say, 'thank you', for the vital role you play in the educational system."
