Miss Drake, Mr. Freeman announce engagement

Andrew Freeman Jr. and Juliana Drake

Mr. and Mrs. Darryl Drake of Millen announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Juliana Lorene Drake, to Mr. Andrew Brentice Freeman Jr., son of Andy and Donita Freeman of Garfield.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Doris Lewis of Millen and the late Mr. Talmadge Lewis, and Dean and Betty Drake of Millen.

Miss Drake is a 2008 honor graduate of Jenkins County High School; she was a Beta Club member, Rotary Scholar and Track and Cross Country award winner. She is attending Geor- gia Southern University and will earn a pre-exercise science degree in 2010. She is employed at TJ Maxx of Statesboro.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Andy and Betty Andrews of Jacksonville, Fla. and Ray and Faye Freeman of Swainsboro.

The groom-elect is an Eagle Scout and a 2007 graduate of Emanuel County Institute. He was a Beta Club member and is currently self-employed.

Miss Drake and Mr. Freeman were engaged on Oct. 6, 2008. The wedding is planned for June 2009.
