If you have travelled on Winthrope Avenue the past week, you are well aware that the street is in the process of being paved. I had never given much thought as to how conveniently Winthrope Avenue connects with the rest of our city streets- until last week.

Navigating through the center of town is a little more challenging while this work is in progress. The "back streets" provide good alternative routes, and you can eventually get to where you want to go. It is kind of like driving through a maze though.

So goes the price of progress! We will enjoy the ride on Winthrope when the work is completed.
