This was the first mayor's prayer breakfast held in Millen.

Numerous city leaders attended including Mayor King Rocker, members of Millen City Council, City Manager Lamar Faircloth, Millen Police Department Chief Dwayne Herrington, local pastors and many church members.

The group prayed for the community, the nation and its leaders and asked God to send industry to Millen.

Pastor Wilma Byrd presented a plaque to Mayor Rocker with a pledge that the church would continue to pray for him and the community.
