Oak Hill Baptist Church to hold revival services

Oak Hill Baptist Church will hold revival services Sunday, July 19, through Wednesday, July 22. Sunday services will begin with Sunday school at 10 a.m. and the morning worship service at 11 a.m. Brother Cail Pressey, Hawhammock Baptist Church, Swainsboro will be the guest speaker Sunday morning. The evening worship service will begin at 6 p.m. with Brother Mike Dann, Rosemary Baptist Church, as the guest speaker.

Weekly services will begin at 7 p.m. with guest speakers as follows: Monday, July 20, Brother David Wheeler, Millen Baptist Church; Tuesday, July 21, Brother Kevin Farmer, Elam Baptist Church; and Wednesday, July 22, Brother Steven Adams, West Millen Baptist Church.

Special music will be provided by Mike and Beth Smith. The public is invited to attend these services.

Long Branch Baptist Church to hold Vacation Bible School

Long Branch Church of God, U.S. Hwy. 25 South, will hold Vacation Bible School 6-8:30 p.m. Monday, July 20, through Wednesday, July 22. The theme will be, "Pirates' Treasure Cove."

Area children are invited to attend.

Zion Baptist Church to hold revival services

Zion Baptist Church will hold revival services 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 21, through Thursday, July 23. The Rev. C.L. Anderson will be the guest minister.

Guest churches will be asked each night to conduction the devotion and public offering.

Pastor P.M. Broomfield and members invite the public to attend.

Mt. Olivet Baptist Church to hold Homecoming

Special services are planned at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church Sunday, July 19, through Wednesday, July 22. The church is located between Canoochee and Garfield.

Homecoming is set for July 19, with the Rev. Fred Pifer delivering the message at 11 a.m. Sunday School begins at 10 a.m. and a covered dish meal will follow the morning worship service. Everyone is asked to "come back home" to Mt. Olivet and spend time in worship and fellowship while reminiscing and renewing old acquaintances.

Revival is slated for July 20-July 22 with services beginning at 7 p.m. The Rev. Mike Dann will lead the church in revival. Special music for the week will be provided by Jeff Gibson, pastor at Greenfork Baptist, the Rev. Phil Wilson, pastor at El Bethel Baptist, and the church choir.

Before each revival service, a meal will be served in the church social hall at 6 p.m. The schedule is as follows: Monday - the older adults; Tuesday - younger adults, and Wednesday - the youth. Each group will prepare and serve for that group, the pastors and the music ministers. A nursery will be available during Homecoming and revival for children five years of age and younger.

Rev. Pifer served as pastor at Mt. Olivet for nearly 10 years. Currently, he is pastor at Harvest Baptist Church, Metter. He and his wife Lori have two sons, Brandon and Justin.

Rev. Dann is currently the pastor of Rosemary Baptist Church in Millen. Rev. Dann and his wife Allison have two daughters, Molly and Maggie.

In preparation for revival on July 13 and July 15, prayer services will be held at the church beginning at 7 p.m. Brother Ray Freeman, interim pastor at Mt. Olivet, urges everyone to be a part of these services. On Thursday, July 16, members are also asked to be a part of visitation to invite people to Homecoming and revival.

Also, church clean-up day is set for 8 a.m. July 18. Randy Canady, deacon chairman, and Brother Freeman encourage all to take part in this special time celebration and worship at Mt. Olivet. Fountain Spring Baptist Church to hold programs

Fountain Springs Baptist Church will hold a Marriage Workshop 5 p.m. Saturday, July 18. All married or engaged couples are encouraged to attend.

The church will hold summer revival services 7:30 p.m. Monday, July 20, through Friday, July 24. The guest evangelist for the week will be Elder Donald Chavers, co-pastor of Agape Worship Center, Statesboro.

The public is invited to attend.

New Hurricane Branch Baptist Church to hold Pastor Appreciation

New Hurricane Branch Baptist Church, 4120 Hurricane Branch Road, will hold its first Pastor Appreciation for Pastor Harry Baldwin 4 p.m. Sunday, July 19. Mistress and Master of Ceremony will be Minister Sandra Adams and Deacon Tim Adams. Dinner will be served following the service.

Gordon Grove Baptist Church to hold benefit for Pinkney family

The Gordon Grove Baptist Church is sponsoring a benefit program for Deacon Gus Pinkney and family 3:30 p.m. Sunday, July 19. Deacon Pinkney was recently hospitalized.

Endtime Faith Deliverance Church to celebrate church anniversary

The Endtime Faith Deliverance Church, Midville, will celebrate its 20th Church Anniversary 7:30 p.m. nightly Friday, July 17, through Sunday, July 19. Elder Emory Haggins of Pine Grove Holiness Church, Portal, will be the guest speaker.

Pastor and church founder, Clyde Foreman Sr., will be the speaker for the Sunday 11 a.m. service, and Bishop Richard Peebles of Faith Outreach Christian Life Center, Augusta, will be the guest speaker at the 4 p.m. service.

The public is invited to attend these services.

William Grove Missionary Baptist to hold Men & Women Day

Williams Grove Missionary Baptist Church will hold their annual Men and Women Day Sunday, July 19. Sunday School begins at 10 a.m. and the worship service at 11 a.m.

The special guest will be Mrs. Sheila Lacue Humpfrey, Mr. Karl Humphfrey and Rock Creek Mass Choir. The spoken word will be given by Pastor Bobby Williams Jr.

The public is invited to attend.

Bethel A.M.E. Women's Missionary Society to hold program

Bethel A.M.E. Church, pastor James C. Jones, and the Women's Missionary Society invite the public to attend their annual celebration 11 a.m. Sunday, July 19.

The guest speaker will be the Rev. Rose C. Jones, mother of Pastor Jones. A veteran educator, Rev. Jones is an ordained minister in the A.M.E. Church and currently serves as assistant pastor at St. Thomas A.M.E. Church, Savannah.

Traditional white attire is optional.

Kelsey Chapel Baptist Church to hold 113th church anniversary

Kelsey Chapel Baptist Church, Hiltonia Road, Jenkins County, will celebrate its 113th Church Anniversary Sunday, July 19. Sunday School begins at 10:15 a.m. and the worship service at 11:15 a.m.
