Dorminy Marie Johnson recently participated in the Miss Georgia Princess Program at the Rivercenter for Performing Arts in Columbus. This program is by invitation and is in conjunction with the 2009 Miss Georgia Scholarship Pageant.

Dorminy shared this magical experience with Whitney Bush, Miss East Georgia College. She participated in daily rehearsals and productions from Tuesday, June 23, through the finals on Saturday, June 27.

She is the 10-year-old daughter of David and Angie Johnson and sister to Hil of Swainsboro. She is the granddaughter of Franklin and Marie Garvin of Millen and Hilton and Abby Johnson of Thomasville.
