Student Leadership Council announced
Jenkins County Middle School is proud to announce its Student Leadership Council members.
The Student Leadership Council is a new program initiated this year with the purpose of encouraging leadership among the students. These students were nominated by their teachers on the following criteria: responsible, problem solver, creative thinker, communicator, motivator, willing to serve, resourceful, and outstanding behavior. The final selection was made by the administration.
Their responsibilities will include identifying ways the school's learning and physical environment can be improved, identifying and helping implement ways to encourage greater student participation in programs already in place at the school. They will provide input and feedback from students to faculty.
Eighth grade representatives are: Dolan (D) Brown, Sarah Beth Cates, Gresham Conway, Brenda Gomez, Infiniti Jones, Harley Purvis, Tyler Taylor, and Walter Thomas. Seventh grade representatives are: Joseph Budgett, Will Collier, Dona' Gay, Jordan Hagins, Adrian Kirkland, Ty'dre Lee, Destinee Mosley and Jenifer Sanders. Representing the sixth grade are: Sydney Clark, Embree Jenkins, Lorenza Laster, Paola Morales, Destiny Mosley, Tykeise Oliver, Cory Thomas and Logan Wright.
