Rocky Ford schools to hold reunion

All alumni and friends of Rocky Ford High School and Rocky Ford Elementary School are invited to share a day of food, fun and memories at the Rocky Ford School Reunion Saturday, Sept. 19.

The reunion will begin with a 10 a.m. registration in the Rocky Ford Baptist Church social hall. A fee of $11 per person will cover the catered lunch and other costs.

If you plan to attend, please call either Hilda Rahn at (912) 863-7651 or planning committee chairman Robert Burke at (912) 863-6830 by Thursday, Sept. 10, so they can have an accurate count for the caterer.

A brief program will start at 11 a.m. and will include a devotional by the Rev. Al Rahn and a time for old friends and schoolmates to swap stories and share old memories. Bring old pictures and other memorabilia to share if you have them. The program will adjourn early enough for everyone to reach home or other lodging before night.
