• A Statesboro resident reported the theft of several items from her vehicle while it was parked at Popeye's restaurant.

Tuesday, Aug. 25

• An Old Waynesboro Road resident reported the theft of a pistol from her vehicle.

• A Jacksonville, Fla. resident reported that the tag was stolen from his vehicle while it was parked at a local motel.

• Nicholas Walter Dudarenke of 604 Harvey Street was charged with simple battery and obstructing or hindering law enforcement officers.

• Officers investigated a criminal trespass report at a Virginia Avenue residence.

• A Toole Court resident reported that someone known to him let the air of out of the tires on his vehicle while it was being worked on at R & M. Auto.

Wednesday, Aug. 26

• A Cleveland Avenue resident reported that someone broke the glass on the back sliding glass door of his residence.

Sunday, Aug. 30

• A Drexel Avenue resident reported that someone known to him pointed a high power rifle at his face and threatened him.

• A Victor Street resident reported that someone known to her pointed a rifle at her as she attempted to exit the residence.

Monday, Sept. 1

• A Gilmer Street resident reported that she was approached by a black male as she arrived at the residence and robbed of her pocketbook at gun point.
