Millen News goes to Arizona

 The Millen News recently traveled with Byron Scogins, commander of local All American VFW Post 2776, to the Annual VFW Convention in Phoenix, Arizona. Presenters included President Obama; Secretary of Veterans Affairs, Eric K. Shinseki; numerous politicians; retired four star Air Force General Michael Hayden, former director of the CIA; Connie Stevens, actress and musician; Baseball Hall of Fame great Rick Monday; and Brigadier General Rhonda Comum, the female black hawk pilot shot down during Operation Desert Storm and was a prisoner of war until hostilities ceased.
