Ernie Dawson & Heirline to appear at Green Fork Baptist Church Millen Baptist to hold Homecoming Oct. 4

The public is invited to make plans to attend Homecoming activities at Millen Baptist Church Sunday, Oct. 4. The guest speaker will be the Rev. Rob Bray. He was the associate pastor and youth and education director at the church 1993-1994.

Since that time, Rev. Bray has pastored Trion Heights Baptist Church for four years, First Baptist Warrenton for eight years and is now pastor at Bethabora Baptist Church in Staham. He has been on mission trips to France, Kenya, Russia, Poland, Mexico and Jamaica. He and his wife Melanie have three children, Robby, Katie Beth and Cody.

Special music will be presented by a group from Burkeland Mennonite Church and the church choir. The men's quartette will perform during the meal.

Plan now to attend and invite former members and family.

Paynes Chapel to hold

Homecoming service Oct. 4

Paynes Chapel will hold Homecoming services 11 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 4. The Rev. Sue Diebolt, pastor of Fair Haven/ Habersham charge will be the guest speaker.

Family members, former members and friends of the church are welcome to share this special day with members.

Morrison Grove to hold annual Men's Day

Morrison Grove Baptist Church will hold its annual Men's Day observance 11:30 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 4. The guest speaker will be Richard D. Sherrod of Hephzibah.

Mr. Sherrod has won numerous awards after enlisting in the U.S. Army. He is the owner and national sales director of "My ECON". He is married to Laretha Johnson Sherrod, and they have two children and three grandchildren.

The public is invited to come and worship.

Homecoming Oct. 4

Millen United Methodist Church will hold Homecoming services Oct. 4 with the Rev. Douglas Sasser Jr. as the guest speaker.

Sunday School begins at 10 a.m., and the worship service begins at 11 a.m.

Lunch will follow immediately in the church social hall. The public is invited to attend.

Carswell Grove to hold Ordination Service

Carswell Grove Baptist church will hold an Ordination Service for Minister Antonio F. Bush Sr. 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3.

Refreshments will be served. The Rev. John H. Bush Sr., pastor, and members invite the public to attend.
