Buck Brinson Sr., age 88, of Millen died Saturday, Oct. 10, 2009.

Graveside services were held 11 am Monday, Oct. 12, 2009 at Fair Haven United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Sue Diebolt officiating.

Mr. Brinson was born in Denver, CO, but lived most of his life in Jenkins County. He was a U. S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, retired from the Georgia Air National Guard, a farmer and member of the Fair Haven United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Tuten Brinson; three sons, Buck (Gina) Brinson, Jr. of Columbia, S.C., Andy (Nancy) Brinson of Millen, and Phil (Freda) Brinson of Savannah; two daughters, Jean Brinson Carr of Martinez and Sally (Ralph) Crowe of Millen; 10 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Crowe-Fields Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
