JCHS to hold Alumni Basketball Game

Jenkins County High School will host an Alumni Basketball Game Wednesday, Nov. 25. The women's game will begin at 7:30 p.m. with the men's game to follow.

It will be an even vs. odd graduation year. Even example, 1990, wear white top. Odd example, 1985, wear blue top.

Admission charges will be $4 for adults and $1 for children age 10 and under.

Friends of Magnolia Springs State Park

to meet Nov. 12

Friends of Magnolia Springs State Park and Millen Milers and More will meet 6 p.m. Nov. 12, at Shelter #2. A spaghetti supper will be held prior to the business session.

WECW Wrestling comes to Millen

Saturday, Nov. 7, Wreal Extreme Championship Wrestling "WECW" will be holding an event at the Jenkins County Recreation Department. Show time will be 7 p.m. and admission will be $7. Local Superstars are scheduled to appear as well as superstars from the CSRA.

Eagle Rock Café is Nov. 19

Eagle Rock Cafe, sponsored by Jenkins County Interact Club, will be held 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 19, at the Jenkins County Agriculture Center. Eagle Rock Café is an annual talent show and dinner that Interact uses to raise money for an international project.

Funds raised this year will be donated to Rotary International's efforts to eradicate polio in the remaining places where it exists in the world.

The program includes dinner at 6 p.m. followed by entertainment by local talent. Tickets are $10 and are available at Jenkins County High School and from Interact Club members.
