to hold concert
The Evening Light Church of God, 220 Washington St., will hold its second annual Children of Joy Choir Concert 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21. The guest speaker will be Minister Marcus C. Mobley of Cornwall Street Church of God, Savannah.

Harvest Revival
The Green Chapel AME Church will hold a Harvest Revival 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18, through Friday, Nov. 20. The guest minister will be the Rev. Bernard Clarke, pastor of the Greater Gaines Chapel.

First McCoy Baptist Church
announces programs
First McCoy Baptist Church will hold its annual Family and Friends Day program 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 14.
The annual Harvest Day program will be held Sunday, Nov. 22. Sunday School begins at 10:30 a.m. and the worship service at 11:30 a.m.
The Rev. Judson Scott, pastor, and congregation invite the public to attend these services.
Trinity Fellowship Convention to be held
The Trinity Fellowship Convention, featuring Brinson Rock, Friendship, New Hurricane Branch and Parker Grove Baptist churches will be held 10 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 29, at New Hurricane Branch Baptist Church.
The public is invited to attend.
Millen Optimist Club to sponsor
Youth in Religion Celebration
The Millen Optimist Club will sponsor a Youth in Religion Celebration 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 15, at First Baptist Church, Old Waynesboro Road. Participating groups of five or more will be awarded monetary gifts to support their ministries.
The speaker for the occasion will be Prophet Reggie Scott of the True Born Church of God, Millen. The Disciples for Christ will be the featured musical group.
The celebration will continue 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 16, at Zion Baptist church, Old Sylvania Road, with the recognition of local student achievers. The theme for the club and the occasion will be "Brining Out the Best in Kids."
Offering words of commendation and encouragement will be the Rev. James Jones, pastor of the Bethel AME Church. Rev. Jones also serves as the mentoring and scholarship chairperson for the My Phi Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. of Savannah.

Pastor Appreciation
Daniel Grove Baptist Church will hold a Pastor Appreciation program for the Rev. Eric Tate 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21.
The Rev. Jesse L. Baitman and Ebenezer Baptist will be in charge of the service.

Men and Women's Day program
Zion Baptist Church will sponsor a Men and Women's Day celebration Sunday, Nov. 22. Sunday School begins at 10 a.m. and the mass meeting at 11 a.m.
Mr. Zion and Ms. Zion will be crowned, and the guest speaker will be Ms. Lucy Powell, executive of the First District of the Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Association, Guyton.
Dinner will be served.

Community Worship Center
to host Ronny Hinson
Community Worship Center, Virginia Avenue, will host Ronny Hinson, recording artist and songwriter, at a Pre-Thanksgiving sing 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21.
Hinson is best known for the song "The Lighthouse." He was Songwriter of the Year for years 1988-1991. He and the original Hinsons were inducted into the official Gospel Music Hall of Fame.
