Meloda Wiggins Bradham Black, age 87, of Millen died Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2009 at Bethany Nursing Center.

Funeral Services were held 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 12, 2009 at Rosemary Baptist Church with the Rev. Mike Dann officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.

She was born in Jenkins County, was a homemaker and a member of the Rosemary Baptist Church.

She is survived by her two daughters, Debra (Dean) Brinson and Sherril (Tom) Jones, both of Millen; three sons, Quinney (Nellie Jean) Lane, John Lane Jr. and Robert Bradham, all of Millen; three stepsons, Donald (Suzanne) Black of Rome, F. A. (ReaAnn) Black of Millen and J. W. (Cathy) Black of Sylvania; three sisters, Hortense Kessler of Millen, Clyde Williamson of Garfield and Peggy Andrews of Augusta; 16 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were grandsons. Crowe-Fields Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
