Doris Lewis Rabitsch died Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2009 at the Medical College of Georgia Hospital in Augusta.

Funeral services were held 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 11, 2009 at the Millen Baptist Church with Rev. Maurice Crowder officiating. Burial followed in the Millen Cemetery.

She was born in Jenkins County. She was a retired secretary and homemaker, a member of the Millen Baptist Church and president of the Camellia Garden Club.

She is survived by her husband, Franklin Rabitsch Sr.; two sons, Steve Rabitsch and Greg Rabitsch, both of Millen; a brother, Hugh Lewis of Millen; and three sisters, Emily Holland of Princeton, Ind., Jeanette Thompson of Fayettville, N.C. and Florence Hall of Aiken, S,C.

Pallbearers were Billy Bragg, Kenny Bragg, Wade Parker, F. A. Black, Buddy Saxon, Ronnie Fleming and Bobby Dwelle.

Crowe-Fields Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
