The Millen Police Department (MPD) reported the following incidents this week.

Thursday, Nov. 26

• Marcellious Shonta Phillips of 187 Johnson Street was charged with failure to report an accident with damage/ injuries, driving with a suspended driver’s licensefirst offense and driving under the influence of alcohol-first offense.

Monday, Nov. 30

• A MPD officer investigated an animal nuisance complaint, second offense. The Animal Control Officer was contacted and a ticket will be issued to the owner of the animal, who was not at home at the time of the incident.

• Jimmy Randolph Willis of 3932 Rocky Ford Road, Sylvania, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol-second offense and failure to maintain lane (weaving).

Tuesday, Dec. 1

• MPD Officers investigated a criminal trespass complaint at an Acorn Avenue residence.

Wednesday, Dec. 2 • Cleveland Steptoe of 3674 Fountain Springs Road was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol-first offense, failure to maintain lane (weaving), no insurance and headlight violation.

Thursday, Dec. 3

• MPD officers investigated a 911 complaint about a vehicle hitting a light pole on Park Avenue. Found at the scene was a Mercury grill with green paint on it.
