Wilton L. “Bill” Saxon, age 85, of Millen died Thursday, Dec. 17, 2009.

Funeral Services were held 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 20, 2009 at the Rosemary Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery.

He was born in Jenkins County and was a retired cabinet maker and a Baptist.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Johnson Saxon; three sons, Clarence Saxon and Charles Saxon, both of Longmont, Col., and Richard Saxon of Perkins; two step-sons, David Barron and Larry Barron, both of Millen; a sister, Grace Williams, of Millen; 10 grandchildren; and 25 great grandchildren.

Crowe-Fields Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
