William George, age 62, of Midville died Monday, Dec. 28, 2009 at Jenkins County Hospital.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 31, 2009 at the Bark Camp Cemetery with the Rev. Tony Smith officiating.

He was born in Jenkins County and was a U. S. Navy Veteran of the Viet Nam War and was a Baptist.

He is survived by two daughters, Amanda Lynn George and Tracy Lynn George; and a sister, Elizabeth (Beth) Allen of Midville.

Visitation will be immediately following the service at the home of Beth Allen.

Crowe-Fields Funeral Home of Millen was in charge of arrangements.
