JCHS Fall Sports Banquet to be held Jan. 21

The Jenkins County High School Fall Sports Banquet will be held 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 21, in the school lunchroom. Student athletes will be recognized at this time including One Act Play, Football, Competition Cheerleading, Softball and Cross Country.

Athletic jackets will be given to eligible students. Tickets are $8 at the door for the meal.

Friends of Magnolia Springs State Park

to meet Jan. 14

The Friends of Magnolia Springs State Park will meet 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 14, in shelter #2. Members are expected, persons interested in helping the park are welcome.
