Wendy Lee Jenkins and Wade Thomas Ward Larry and Tammy Jenkins are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Wendy Lee Jenkins, to Wade Thomas Ward, son of Shannon Ward and Calvin Ward of Millen.

The wedding will be an event of 4 p.m. Saturday, March 20, at United Millen Methodist Church.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Emory and Annie Lee Rabitsch of Perkins and the late Mildred Jenkins of Millen. She is a 1999 graduate of Jenkins County High School and is employed with Ogeechee Behavioral Health.

The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Clary and Elizabeth Ward of Waynesboro and Estelle Franklin of Fayetteville, Tenn. He is a 2000 graduate of Jenkins County High School and is employed with Burke County Emergency Management Agency as a firefighter/EMT.
