Yes, we have tax forms! Both federal and state income tax forms have arrived at the library and are available to everyone.
“Brrrr… It’s Cold!” That’s the theme of this week’s Storytime, to be held 4 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 27. Next week, Feb 3, at 4 p.m., our Storytime will be “What’s a Groundhog?” in honor of Groundhog Day, Feb. 2.
Did you know that February is Library Lovers’ Month? Join us all month as we celebrate the bond between the “people’s university” and the communities we serve, and learn more about the library and what we can do for you. We’re not just about books any more (but we’ve got those too!)
Friday, Feb. 5, from 11 a.m. until noon you can come by and enjoy a cup of coffee with us. We’ll be glad to see you there!
Have you ever wondered why there’s a pinecone on your library card? It’s because we are one of the original PINES libraries! PINES is the Public Information Network for Electronic Services, formed way back in 1999. Since then, PINES has gone from 98 libraries to 281 libraries, and we’ve saved the taxpayers of Georgia over $70,000,000 over the last 10 years!
The Screven-Jenkins Regional Library Board will be meeting at 4 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 28, at the Jenkins County Memorial Library.
