Did you know that February is Library Lovers Month? It’s a perfect time to escape that chilly weather outside by curling up with a good book or watching one of our great movies with a friend, and we can help you do that at the library!

Today, Wednesday, Feb. 3, at 4 p.m. we’ll be having our great Storytime, and it will be all about groundhogs in honor of Groundhog Day, Feb. 2! Next Wednesday’s storytime will also have a holiday theme as we celebrate Valentines Day. It’s a lot of fun for the little ones, so don’t miss it!

This Friday, Feb. 5, we’ll be having free coffee in the lobby from 11 a.m. until noon. Come in, enjoy a cup, and we’ll have a nice chat. Also, Friends of the Library will be holding their annual meeting from 11 a.m. until noon. If you are interested in becoming a Friend, come enjoy a cup of coffee and pickup an application.

Do you have an infant or toddler? Then don’t miss Mommy & Me, our great enrichment program that helps baby and mother grow closer together! It’s every Monday at 5:30 p.m., and it’s a terrific way to help your baby grow!

The Good Stuff by Michelle Stimpson - Sonia and Kennard have successful careers, beautiful twins and a great house. Adrian has a husband that she adores and who works hard to keep bringing home the bacon. But there’s more to life than the material things, and “perfect” marriages are rarely as perfect when you’re in one. Enter Miss Erma, who invites them to a prayer group that doesn’t just teach them about the Word of God, but about how to make a marriage work.

Help survivors of the earthquake in Haiti - From Charity Navigator, the top site for evaluating charities comes a listing of the best charities working to help the people of Haiti recover from the devastating earthquake that leveled most of their country on January 12. Included are reviews of the charities, the focus of each charity’s work, and tips to make sure that your donation goes to the people in Haiti instead of a general fund.

Well, that’s all for now – see you at the library!
