Miss Lane, Mr. Broadie to exchange vows

Lane III of Warner Robins are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Elizabeth Lane, to Jonathan Andrew Broadie, son of Mr. and Mrs. Troy T. Broadie of Centerville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred B. Newton of Millen and Mrs. Marie P. Moultrie of North Augusta, S.C. and the late Emory G. Lane Jr. of Millen.

A 2005 graduate of Northside High School, Ashley graduated cum laude in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Georgia Southern University where she was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority. She is currently with The Dovetail Companies in Statesboro.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Brenda Mayes and the late Mr. William Mayes and the late Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Broadie, all of Valdosta.

Jonathan, a 2005 honor graduate of Northside High School, received a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with highest honors from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2009, where he was a Gulfstream Scholar. He is currently with the United States Army Corp of Engineers at Fort Stewart.

The wedding is planned for Saturday, May 1, at Forest Heights Country Club, Statesboro. All family and friends are invited to attend.
