Dana Nicole Burke and William Dakota Jones Mr. and Mrs. John Milton Burke Jr. of Millen announce the engagement of their daughter, Dana Nicole Burke, of Millen, to William Dakota (Cody) Jones of Sylvania. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Strickland of Sylvania and Mr. and Mrs. Tracy Deal Jr. of Portal.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Milton Burke Sr. of Millen and Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Davis of Swainsboro.

She is a 2003 graduate of Jenkins County High School and is currently attending Ogeechee Technical College where she is pursuing a degree in Surgical Technology. She is currently employed by Statesboro Bulloch Regional Veterinary Hospital.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Johns and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Franklin Deal, all of Statesboro, Sanford Strickland and Sara Kitchens, both of Sylvania. He is the greatgrandson of Grady White and the late Mary Alice White of Statesboro.

The wedding is planned for 3 p.m. Saturday, June 19, at Green Fork Baptist Church in Perkins with a reception immediately following.
