Gary and Summer (Waters) Melton of Washington are pleased to announce the birth of their son, Jackson Lee Melton, on Jan. 7, 2010. He weighed 10 lbs. 1 oz. and was 23 inches long.

Maternal grandparents are Jim and Janie Waters of Perkins. Paternal grandparents are Gary Melton Sr. of Dearborn Heights, MI and Ted and Lisa Woodworth of Beaumont, TX. Great-grandparents are C.J. Waters and the late Juel B. Waters of Perkins and the late Mildred R. Jenkins of Millen.
