Mr. Bobby A. Taylor Sr., 65, died Thursday, February 25, 2010.

Funeral services were held 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 27, 2010 at Deep Creek Freewill Baptist Church with the Revs. Butch Taylor and Carl Miller officiating. Burial was in the Bennett Family Cemetery.

Mr. Taylor was born in Jenkins County. He was a retired salesman and was a Baptist.

Survivors include two sons, Bobby Butch (Deborah) Taylor Jr. of Millen and Tony Taylor of Hinesville; two brothers, Preston (Rose) Taylor Jr. and Aaron Buck (Donna) Taylor, both of Millen; a sister, Mary R. Alcott of Millen; two sisters-in-law, Helen Taylor and Frankie Taylor; and a granddaughter, Jenny.

Active pallbearers were Kim Burke, Allen Burke, Randy Lane, Ronald Wiggins, Doy Hulsey and Sammy Foreman.

Honorary Pallbearers were nephews. Crowe-Fields Funeral Home, Millen, was in charge of arrangements.
