Mr. Charles N. Williams, 62, of Millen died Saturday, March 6, 2010.

Funeral services were held 2 p. m. Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at West Millen Baptist Church, with the Revs. Andy Allen and Ray Freeman officiating.

Burial followed at the Millen Cemetery.

Mr. Williams was born in Jenkins County. He was a retired Georgia Forest Ranger and a member of the West Millen Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Jennifer Newton Williams; two daughters, Lorrie (Rex) Dailey and Joanie William, both of Millen; a son, Norman (Shelby) Williams of Millen; four sisters, Peggy Becton of Plum Branch S.C., Betty Crosby of Yorbalinda, CA, Lorene Blackburn, and Gloria Martin, both of Millen; five brothers, Roy Williams of Manalapan N.J., Arnold Williams of Augusta, W.T. Williams, Kenneth Williams and Terry Williams, all of Millen; and five grandchildren.

Active pallbearers were nephews and Will Brinson. Crowe-Fields Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
