Mr. Charlie “CJ” Jones Jr. of Millen entered into rest on Feb. 4, 2010 at Dekalb Medical Center in Decatur.

His funeral was held February 10, 2010 at Johnson Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. Allen Webb officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.

He left a very loving and devoted wife of 60 years, Mrs. Laura Jones; and six children to cherish his memory: Annie Orrington, Charlene Thompson, Patricia Jones, Auburn Jones, Cynthia Tate and Charlie J. Jones. He also had seven grandchildren and a host of loving in-laws, nieces, nephews and many, many caring friends.

James A. Kirkland Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
