Jenkins Co. students excel at EBA

A number of Jenkins County students have excelled in extracurricular activities at Edmund Burke Academy this school year. These students have participated in sports, literary events and various activities to enrich and enhance their high school experience.

Jenkins County students and the activities in which they participated are as follows:

• John Mims – football, basketball and baseball;

• Steven Brantley – football and tennis;

• Amanda Bragg – softball, basketball, track manager, Fellowship of Christian Students (FCS) and literary;

• Lauren Bragg – softball, basketball, track, FCS and literary;

• Will Dasher – football, basketball and baseball;

• Dylan Hargrove – golf, Future Georgia Educators, Interact and FCS;

• Kasie Hargrove – basketball, softball, tennis, Student Council, S.A.D.D. club, B.A. Lettermen’s Club, Interact and FCS;

• Jessica Herrmann – cheerleader, girls’ chorus, girls’ trio, Rhetorical Analysis Competition and 2010 Washington Youth Tour delegate;

• Clarke Jenkins – football; Cody McTeer – football and baseball;

• Mitchell Thompson – baseball;

• Taylor Meadows – cheerleading, Writer’s Conference, 2009 Washington Youth Tour delegate and Yearbook staff;

• Brandon Oliver – football; • Jonathan Reeves - track;

• Kate Reeves – cheerleader;

• Bailee Small – EBA Spelling Bee winner and softball;

• Matt Thompson – football; and

• Tabitha Trent – One Act Play, trio, solo, FCS and Future Georgia Educators.
