Miss Jenkins County Schools Pageant winners announced

The Miss Jenkins County Schools Pageant was held Saturday, March 6, in the Jenkins County Gymnatorium.
Shae Burke, daughter of Butch and Kelly Burke, was crowned the 2010 Miss Jenkins County High School. Shae was also the winner of the Prettiest Dress, America’s Choice and Miss Congenality.
The first runner up and winner of the Prettiest Hair was Sara Burke, daughter of Don and Lisa Burke. Second runner up was Rhonda Lovett, daughter of Tamia Lovett and Bobby and Arliesha Lovett. The third runner up and winner of Prettiest Smile and Miss Photogenic was Jonquette Sanders, daughter of John Sanders and Patricia Sanders.
Brittany Johnson, daughter of Charles Johnson and Pamela Johnson, was crowned Miss Jenkins Middle School and winner of the Prettiest Dress.
The first runner up, America’s Choice winner and Miss Photogenic winner was Ali Deal, daughter of Al Deal and Celess Deal. Second runner up and winner of the Prettiest Smile was Amanda Harden, daughter of the late Bobby Harden and Lotice Reed. Third runner up was Maggie Searles, daughter of David and Nan Searles, and the winner of the Prettiest Hair was Katelyn Oglesby, daughter of Adam and Tina Oglesby.
Cierra Linder was crowned Miss Jenkins Elementary School. Cierra is the daughter of Dan Linder and Christina Linder. Linder also won the Prettiest Dress and Prettiest Hair categories.
The first runner up, Abby Bennett, is the daughter of Jamie and Tabatha Bennett. Second runner up and winner of the Prettiest Smile, Katelyn Bell, is the daughter of Douglas and Regina Bell. Third runner up and Miss Photogenic, Monica Parris, is the daughter of Michael Parris and Linetta Wadley. Fourth runner up, Tiara Arthur, is the daughter of Terry and Victoria Arthur. Chamoria Dunn, daughter of Ytwan Dunn and Crissy Lake, was named America’s Choice.
The Pageant committee expressed appreciation to the contestants, parents and all those who supported, donated, or helped in any way to make the pageant successful. All proceeds from the pageant will go to help with the 2010 Jenkins County High School Prom.
