Jacquelin Whitehead Drewry, 83, died April 9
Jacquelin Whitehead Drewry, 83, passed away Friday, April 9, 2010.
Funeral services were held 3 p.m. Sunday, April 11, 2010, in the chapel of Lord and Stephens Funeral Home, West, with the Reverends Fred Roswell and Steve Hartman officiating. Burial was in the Thomas Cemetery.
A native of Oconee County, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Pearlie Lee Thomas Whitehead. She was a homemaker, mother, gardener, dressmaker and a member of Green Acres Baptist Church where she attended the open Fellowship Sunday School Class.
Survivors include children, Jackie (Jere) Thorne, Ann (Art) Markners, Alice Lee Tanner, Eleanor Kay Drewry, Luke (Robin) Drewry; nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren and four step- great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Jay Thorne, Clint Tyson, Jamie Tanner, Matthew Drewry, Hank Butler, Daniel Drewry and Wesley Tanner.
Lord and Stephens Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
