A Jenkins County Grand Jury met last month and handed down indictments and accusations in 17 cases as follows:

• Evan Montel Jackson, terroristic threats and acts, pointing or aiming gun or pistol at another and carry a concealed weapon.

• Chiquita Denise Young, criminal damage to property in the second degree.

• Tracy Jordan, armed robbery, aggravated assault, possession of firearm/knife during crime/attempted crime and possession or transfer of firearm by convicted felon.

• Beverley Quick Kurtz, possession w/intent to distribute marijuana and going inside guard line with weapon, liquor, drugs.

• Richard Lee Bolton, three counts of theft by taking.

• Crystal Chance, three counts of theft by taking.

• Andy Cunningham, three counts of theft by taking.

• Michael Paul Lane, two counts of aggravated assault, five counts of burglary, cruelty to animals, possession of firearm/ knife during crime/attempted crime, possession of tools for the commission of a crime and use of firearm by convicted felon during commission of a crime.

• Arnold Ladarry Thompson, possession of cocaine, possession of firearm/knife during crime/attempted crime, possession and use of drug related objects, criminal trespass and public drunkenness.

• Robert Lamar Herrington, armed robbery, aggravated assault, burglary and battery-family violence.

• Jeffery Calvin Ball, aggravated assault.

• Polly Lean Smith, arsonfirst degree.

• Teddy Smith, arson-first degree.

• Joshtabvie Dwon Waters, aggravated assault.

• Colton Nathaniel York, theft by taking.

• Eric G. Foreman, theft by conversion.

• Seddrick Lamont Holmes, theft by taking and driving under the influence of alcohol.
