A number of local favorites will perform in the Spring Variety Show 7 p.m. Friday, April 30, at the Millen Community House.

Artists include: Hubert Reeves, Lynford Cook and Tommy Cooper; Anna Crowe, Jessica Herrmann, and Vanessa Posey; Sylvia Gay; Henry and Hudson Sherrod; Tabatha Trent; Rachel Welch; Angie Joyner; Vera Smith and Natasha Hudgins; and Ayana Walker. Joe Sasser and Anna Crowe will serve as master/mistress of ceremony.

Desserts prepared by some of Jenkins County’s best cooks will be served.

Tickets are $10 and may be purchased from Millen Better Hometown members or from the Millen/Jenkins County Chamber of Commerce office. Proceeds will be used to purchase benches and trash receptacles for Cotton Avenue.
