Happy Mother’s Day Mrs. Lillie Lee

A Million Times

Mom, we miss you always, but especially

on Mother’s Day; As we go about our daily lives, we wish

you hadn’t gone away. We used to think that people didn’t need

their moms so much After they grew up. But we’ve realized

that’s not true. We are always in need of our mother’s

touch and her love To see us through.

Mom, we miss you more with each passing day,

Sometimes in laughter and sometimes in tears.

Oh how the months are now beginning to turn into a year.

No matter how old we get or how tall we’ve grown nothing Could replace our mother’s love, the special kind you’ve shown.

You never said you were leaving, and you never said goodbye.

You were gone before we knew it, and only God knew why.

A million times we needed you. A million times we cried. A million times we thought of you wiping the tears from our eyes.

In life we loved you dearly, in death we love you still.

In our hearts you hold a place that no one could ever fill. Mom, we love you and miss you more than anyone could ever

know, But still we press on because we know you loved us so.

Love, Kizzy and Cornelius
