Mr. Robert E. Pylant, 86, of Millen died Monday, May 3, 2010.

Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 5, 2010 (today) at Lewis Church Cemetery.

Mr. Pylant was born in Fulton County. He was a U. S. Army veteran and member of the Church of God.

Survivors include his son, Albert Wayne Pylant of Jacksonville, Fla.; a daughter, Joan E. Mathis of Jacksonville, Fla.; a special friend, Linda Oglesby of Millen; a brother, Marion F. Pylant; three sisters, Marggie Gandy, Elenore Lavender, all of Jacksonville, Fla. and Betty Edenfield of Pensacola, Fla.; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Crowe-Fields Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
