On Friday, June 4, my mama, Martha Robbins, passed away after a long battle with cancer. When we found out last summer that her cancer had returned and was terminal, Mama decided against taking chemo treatments, trusting the Lord to heal her. When it became apparent in recent months that healing would not come to her in this lifetime, she peacefully accepted the Lord’s promise of “perfect” healing in Heaven and told us many times that she was “ready to go.”

My own prayers for Mama’s healing eventually became prayers for mercy. The Lord answered both requests. He mercifully called Mama to Heaven where He healed her for all eternity. I know that she is now with the Lord and that I will see her again one day.

Please know that all the kind, sympathetic words and acts extended to me, my sisters and our families are greatly appreciated and will always be remembered.
