Summer Reading is in full swing and we’re really Making a Splash! Today, June 23, at 2 p.m. we are going to have a visit by Smokey Bear! Bring in the little ones to meet the world’s most famous bear!

Then at 3 p.m. on June 23 we’ll be having our terrific teen craft day. Ages 8 and up can come and do a cool craft project to take home for free! We will be having a teen craft day every Wednesday at 3 p.m. from now until July 23, so come join in the fun every week!

Next Wednesday, June 30, at 2 p.m., we’ll be visited by the folks from GSU’s Raptor Center. They’ll be bringing amazing aquatic animals to the library for you to meet, and teaching you about the wild critters that you can meet in the woods and waters here in Georgia.

We will be closed on Monday, July 5, for Independence Day. Have a happy Fourth of July!

On Wednesday, July 7, at 11 a.m., we will have a visit from the 4-H Club! Bring all the kids to find out more about this terrific civic organization!

Are you older than 10 and under 20? hen you’re invited to our crazy teen chocolate party! We’ll have lots of goodies for you to enjoy, and even a chocolate fountain!
