Mrs. Martha “Marty” Peacock Lindsey, 55, of Millen died Monday, June 28, 2010 at Bethany Nursing Center.

Funeral services were held 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at Oak Hill Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Lindsey was born in Chatham County and was a retired retail store clerk and a member of the Oak Hill Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Michael Lindsey Jr. of Rocky Ford and Josh Lindsey of Millen; a daughter, Michelle Taylor of Statesboro; and two sisters, Brenda Cohen of Savannah and Kathy Rochelle of Hoboken, NC.

Pallbearers were nephews. Crowe-Fields Funeral Home of Millen was in charge of arrangements.
